A Pet Sitter Business is a Great Way to Make Money

A Pet sitter business is for people that want to be of service to people and animals. If you love pets, you do not want to see them in kennels while their owners travel. Then this is a great home business for you. It can consist of scheduling someone to check on animals large and small while their owners are away, walk them, and provide any other specific pet needs.

Other than being trustworthy, reliable and responsible and having a rapport with animals, there is not much more to know about handling this business this business, other than doing what the pet owner requests. You can provide the service yourself or you can hire students, retirees, or others seeking some part time cash.

You can advertise by handling out fliers to people out walking their dogs and by placing notices in on bulletin boards in pet store, supermarkets or other shops.

The key to success is to have several clients per day in nearby areas, so you can make your rounds and return home to field calls from new or returning customers (or just use a cell phone. Obviously, the most popular travel months, summer, and school vacation time, will be your business time of the year.

You can make additional money by selling pet related products such as fancy dog collar, fun pet toys and even dog shampoo.

Home business requirement include having some brushes, leashes, and other pet accessories on hand in case they are needed. (The owner supplies mostly everything.) You will also want to have excellent scheduling software and reliable transportation available at all times
